In the unique manufacturing process of the fabric, the yarn is first given a DWR protection, then woven, shrunk and the result is given another DWR protection.<\/p>\n<p>This creates a very, very dense fabric that has an extremely high level of protection against rain and wind without a membrane. Tim Soar&#8217;s team has integrated a drawstring and extended and &#8220;stiffened&#8221; the back section. No weather can surprise me. Whether it&#8217;s rain, hail or snow, with this jacket I&#8217;m always suitably dressed. It is very versatile.<\/p>\n<p>Although the jacket is not particularly thick, you should not underestimate its warmth. You certainly don&#8217;t need to wear more than one layer underneath &#8211; depending on your personal preferences, of course. For me, it is used from around 5\u00b0C and in any case throughout the winter. But it is unique in its functionality and simply very, very good. Did I mention that I've been wearing the first version for three and a half years and it still looks and works like it did on the first day? I think you can spend a bit more money for this quality.
