Soar Merino Track Jacket and Pants

These are the first two items of clothing from Soar that I haven’t worn for running yet – even though they are, of course, designed for that.

Anzeige: Soar provided me with the products for this test at my request. This had no influence on the content of my test report. The article is freely written and reflects only my personal experiences.

Soar Merino Track Jacket

For travelling to and from competitions, Soar offers a combination of two garments that can be worn together as a tracksuit or separately for training.

The Merino Track Jacket is a warm and very comfortable long-sleeved top lined with merino wool. Its soft texture makes it comfortable to wear directly against the skin.

The full-length zip at the front is complemented by two closable front pockets, which are not only great for warming your hands. They also have room for all kinds of snacks and other accessories that you might need while warming up before a race.

Reflective strips are incorporated at the front and back for improved visibility. The fit is slightly looser than usual for Soar – after all, the jacket is designed to be worn over other clothing. However, the Merino Track Jacket can also be worn independently of the trousers as a warm top for training.

Soar Track Pants

All of this also applies to the track trousers. They also have two front pockets with zip fastenings.

In addition, the leg can be opened very wide so that the track pants can be put on or taken off even when wearing shoes.

Here, too, the soft inner surface invites you to wear it directly on your skin. Merino wool is also ideal for everyday training, where the material ensures rapid sweat transport and neutralizes odors.

Conclusion

Soar Merino Track Jacket and Pants
For true fans
So far, I've only worn the jacket and pants as a tracksuit, even though the fit and functionality are just as good for training. In terms of price, it doesn't make sense to use the two pieces just for traveling to competitions, as they cost more than 400 euros together. Anyone willing to spend the money will get (as always with Soar) a pretty perfect product.

This is where Thomas Pier writes about running and (much more than just the necessary) equipment. I don't run particularly fast or far. But I like to share my experiences as an ambitious recreational runner, curious early-adopter and as my own trainer.

I am happy about every digital contacting - but even more so about every kilometer run together.
