Twice a year I place a large order with Soar and make sure I get my favourites. Here is my selection for the summer.

Soar Cotton T
For the first time, Soar has a shirt in its line-up that is not necessarily intended for running. The Cotton T is made of cotton and is certainly more suitable for everyday wear.
As usual, the fit is relatively sporty. I bought the shirt one size larger and am very happy with it. It’s a beautiful, high-quality shirt with only small design elements that will be a firm favourite in my summer wardrobe.
Soar Printed Tech-T
The Tech T is the basic shirt for every occasion. Soar brings out new colours and prints every year.
I think the design with the vertical stripes is pretty cool. I probably wouldn’t have bought a pure white shirt. It’s also a good option for race day.
Soar Hot Weather T
The Hot Weather T is also an old favourite. The lower section is made from the airy material of the Race Vest, which has proven its worth in hot weather. The shoulders and arms are made from a fabric with UPF 50 sun protection.
Neon seems to be in this year. For me, the colour complements my small pile of Hot Weather Ts, as this functional top has accompanied me through several summers.
Soar Hot Weather Zip Top
Alternatively, Soar also has the Zip Top in its portfolio. The material is even more airy and has UPF 30 protection. The sleeves are therefore also cut slightly longer.
The zip can be used to control the fresh air supply in summer. What I particularly like about the Hot Weather Zip Top is that no matter how sweaty it is, it never feels damp against the skin.
Soar Singlet
This year there is a completely new version of the singlet. It is no longer quite as boxy cut as its predecessors, but still covers considerably more skin than the Race Vests.
Tim Soar uses the Sahara Ultra Mesh from the Hot Weather Zip Top. The cut is not quite as sporty as usual, which gives the singlet a very pleasant airiness.
Soar Run Shorts
The Run Shorts have also been part of the basic gear for a long time. Medium length, comfortable inner briefs, zip pocket in the back – they are the shorts for every occasion.
Although I already own rather too many run shorts, the colour really appealed to me this year: red is rarely if ever seen at Soar.
Soar Socks
My socks usually don’t last very long – with very few exceptions. The ones from Soar have never disappointed me so far, so a small supply is part of every order.
Conclusion
There are also running clothes from other brands in my wardrobe, of course. But whenever I wear them from time to time, I realise again what I have in Soar. Although the clothes are really expensive, the bottom line is that they are worth the money for me: functional down to the wildest specialities, always a perfect fit and with a knack for beautiful colours and designs.
