Is it really summer already? Anyway, running in a singlet and splits is definitely fun again. My new “little black dress” is from YMR Track Club – the “Swedish Tracksmith”. ;)

What at first glance looks like a normal, black split shorts, turns out to be a real luxory version of it.
The material is wonderfully soft and has a light waffle structure. It is made of recycled polyester, Oeko-Tex Class I certified and is processed in Sweden.
There is an inner slip that fits very comfortably because it is cut a little lower on the outside. The pocket in the back is inside the pants and relatively roomy. However, it is not closable.
I could stow my GoPro well in it while running. Only the access is not that easy – depending on how tightly the waistband is laced. But the Shinjuku Shorts are really comfortable and are a good companion, especially on hot days.

I decided to use a noble black for the singlet as well, although YMR again has other very nice colours in their range.
The material seems to be identical to the shorts – which is only right for me, because it is very comfortable on the skin. Due to the waffle structure the sweat is also absorbed very well.
The Änggården Singlet has a very good cut, but it does not fit athletically tight. I liked it very much to have a little more air in it.
Additional air floats through the very light material.
I have done quite a few runs with the combination of shorts and singlet over the last weeks and have to admit that I keep both right at the front of my drawer. Because of the cool design I not only like black running outfits again. The quality of the material and the cut convinced me that the still young brand from Sweden is a real insider tip.
