I still love to run in merino wool and I already have some really nice pieces in my wardrobe – but what Fusion delivers here belongs easily in my TOP3. The longsleeve feels wonderfully soft and fits perfectly. Even after dozens of washes nothing has changed. In addition comes the beautiful colour…

This is one of the items that hardly sees my cabinet, because I usually wear it again right after washing. It’s a great first-layer in winter, but will also work as a normal top in spring.

Fusion C3 Plus Recharge Pants

Recharge? Like in to recharge? Yeah, that’s what this is all about. Pants for relaxation. As leisure wear, for the way to the gym, for keeping warm before and after a competition or for that easy recreational run.

The trousers have two zipper pockets on the sides, but these hardly offer enough space for a whole hand. Even a smartphone does not fit in. But you can carry change, keys or whatever else you would carry around with you.

The leg closure is almost as narrow as a tight, which is very practical for running. I have to admit that I have never used it for running yet… Instead I use them every day as comfortable pants after work. Guess which pants I am wearing right now…? ;) Right.

Fusion C3 Hot Long Tights

Okay, time for the Fusion Tights show. A fanfare would fit well here, because to me these tights are really a star. After the short and the “normal” version, it was time for the winter version, which is basically equipped exactly the same way as its siblings: two leg pockets on the side and one in the back.

The tight becomes really “hot” by the roughened material inside. The additional heat buffer is clearly noticeable at cold temperatures. Normally I like to wear a short over the tight in winter (cold butt … #mimimi), but with the Fusion Hot Tight this was not necessary.

In short: I only change between two tights to run at the moment. Depending on the temperature the Hot Tight is used, otherwise the somewhat thinner sister. The two side pockets and the good fit make the tights simply a must-have.

To my surprise I also found the women’s version of the tight in the package. Size M. For a test run? I…? No, no… the tight seems to be the best seller and very popular with the ladies. That could be the reason why it disappeared in my wife’s closet… ;)

An essential difference (I could see that much myself) is the clearly higher drawn waistband of the tight. In addition, the hem is wider than in the men’s version, which certainly adds to the comfort.

Conclusion

Clear recommendation
Fusion has a safe place in my running wardrobe. A very safe one. What the Danes deliver may not be spectacular at first sight, but it simply is good. In addition to this, production in Europe, Oeko-Tex materials, crash and fit replacement, a good dealer network in Germany… I really can recommend Fusion.
Shop-Empfehlungen

Even if I link to Amazon here: there is actually no price advantage for Fusion products – neither online nor at the retail shops. So I can only recommend to buy locally or place an order in the Fusion online shop.

Hi! It’s me, the Harlerunner.

This is where Thomas Pier writes about running and (much more than just the necessary) equipment. I don't run particularly fast or far. But I like to share my experiences as an ambitious recreational runner, curious early-adopter and as my own trainer.

I am happy about every digital contacting - but even more so about every kilometer run together.
